Obituary of Edward Behrens

            A lifelong resident of upstate New York, Edward passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, age 86. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Lisa; son, Erich; four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Edward was a graduate of RIT and worked as a quality control engineer at Xerox for 24 years. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, reading, and spending time with family.

            He had innate knowledge of finances and mathematics. He used his talent to help people with their taxes through AARP for about 20 years. He tutored students in math that were earning their GEDs. He also volunteered with Nancy to bring meals to shut-ins with Meals-on-Wheels.

            Edward’s Memorial Service will be 2:00PM Sunday, July 30, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 131 W Main St., Webster. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Backpack Food Ministry.
