Obituary of Sally B. Lewis
Webster, formerly of Slingerlands NY, Sunday July 9th, 2023, age 87. Predeceased by her husband Robert J.; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Brydon Shrock and Jean Anne Bjanes and nephew Doug Kahn. She leaves her son, Todd (Traci) Lewis; daughter Sarah (Pat) O’Brien; grandchildren, Emily (Natalie) Munn, Kevin Lewis, and Kate O’Brien; nephews Jim (Donna) Brydon, Charles (Chris) Bjanes, niece Laureen Kahn, and brother-in-law Ron Shrock.
Sally successfully ran Blanchard Industrial Supplies (Troy, NY) following the death of her husband. She was devoted to the Slingerlands United Methodist Church for many years and retained many of her friends through that connection. She was a member of the Webster United Methodist Church where she had numerous friends. Sally enjoyed gardening and reading, but her favorite pastime was baking, especially for her grandchildren. She would send packages of baked goods to them often. She was also known for her famous Ginger Cookies which were requested at many events (and she graciously passed along her recipe if asked).
Friends/Family are invited to her Memorial Service (Reception following) 11am Saturday, July 29th at Ontario Golf Club, 2101 Country Club Ln., Ontario, NY. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated. Arrangements by Willard H. Scott Funeral Home
