Scott was a colleague of mine at Kodak. I did not work with him but we were part of a group that socialized and had yearly ski trips for a long time. Scott was generally one of the organizers of the ski trips, which were great fun. At some point we even had a personal chef on these trips, his brother in law and my friend Ken Kresinske. We also had other interactions at Kodak and family events, which leave pleasant memories. And that is the way I remember Scott, about times having fun. My condolences to Debra, Coral and Cole and I hope good memories will help you in this difficult time.

I worked with Scott at Kodak; we were in the same group. One of the many things I liked about Scott was his "can do" attitude. He was driven to get the job done. And he had the skills to do it. He would see the problem, come up with a solution, and then make it happen. I admired him for his work ethic.
And then there were the many cross country ski trips to North Creek in the Adirondacks. Skiing all day and then coming home (Tim's house I think) to a hearty meal (thanks Ken and Scott) and a lot of good conversations. Those were fun times. I hadn't seen Scott much since retirement, but he was a friend and I will miss him.

Having known Scott for 45+ years has made his death quite hurtful. But with the pain comes remembrances of his life and how he was so intertwined with our family.
There is not a single Bobak that didn’t have Scott in the middle of the countless moves from apt to apt and city to city. Obviously, most of the moves were in the middle of summer and inevitably to second floors. Once everyone was settled in, Scott would start the construction and repair projects. Oh, to be young, ambitious and talented!
Then there were the fun and games…
The vacation trips to Virginia, Outer Banks and Florida were always an adventure. While initially the parties, uh vacations, were with all the siblings. It didn’t take long before we grew up a bit and the children became a major part of the outings. Yes, Scott was there for all the packing, cooking, cleaning and fireworks.
Each summer we would rent a party boat and all go out for a day. Scott was always the designated captain. Mainly because none of us were capable of navigating, let alone drive a boat.
The are so many other remembrances and events that simply made Scott special and who he was. For now, we’ll just keep them in our hearts.
Finally, Scott had an amazing gift for writing. He had a fantastic ability of wrapping up a years worth of his families experiences and adventures into a single page at Christmas. They were always informative and entertaining. These will be forever missed.
Oh! And then there were the parties!!!!

Our deepest condolences to Debra, Coral and Cole. You are a special family and Scott's passing from this life is such a sad loss of an extremely kind, generous and talented man. Having a celebration of his life gathering is so very spot on for remembering the many parties you all hosted over the years. Scott did tons of preparation and cooking his fabulous " beef on wick" for such events and was attentive to everyone to have a good time. I remember he would always bring Debra beautiful "bird of paradise" flowers and regularly engage himself in home improvement projects. Scott was an all around "family man" and embraced those around him to be included. May his soul be blessed for the many ways he has blessed others.

I will very much mourn the passing of my brother-in-law Scott who I regarded as my own brother as much as my other two brothers. I remember my mother once saying she regarded him as her son. His wit and generosity will long be remembered and I sure he is now in heaven in the company of his loved ones.

Scott has been in my life for years. When I moved here from out of town, Scott and Deb were already here cleaning the house. When my electricity went out a few years ago, Scott and Deb came over with a thermos bottle of coffee and Scott even left his cell phone with me. Scott was the one who ran over to tell me about Brett's death. Scott ran into Buffalo after Brett's death to pick up all of Brett's favorite food. Scott and Gary helped so much to help Doug move to Rochester. Scott took him to many medical appointments after he got here. In other words, he truely was a member of the Bobak family.

I have very fond memories of Scott over the years. I first met Scott when he came to Kodak. In fact I was his guide the day he started. Got to show him around. We instantly became friends. I spent alot of time with Scott in the early years. We played sofball together in the Kodak leagues. Attended many parties together along with parties at his house. We also played horseshoes on Monday nights for many years. Scott was an awesome individual. A true friend who would give you the shirt off his back. We had some great times. Lots of laughs. I haven't been able to see as much of Scott since Covid. The horseshoe league dissolved. Would try to meet for lunch once in awhile. I will miss Scott as I know everyone will. I was very sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Debra and his children and the entire family.
