Janet and Don were close friends of my parents Firth and Nancy Perryman who were also Schantz tract "pioneers" in Webster in the 1960's. After Don's untimely passing, Janet gave piano lessons to my Dad, and they developed a shared appreciation of each other's amazing intellectual gifts.
Only Janet could have found a fine new husband, also named Smith!
To the very end, Janet always remembered me and shared with me her perceptive observations of life. The world has lost a truly gifted and wonderful person.
