Obituary of Adrienne Overfield

          Our beloved daughter, sister and mother Adrienne Overfield passed into eternal life on Saturday, May 6, 2023 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

            A graduate of webster Schroeder High School in 2004, Adrienne spent a lifetime spreading joy and genuinely caring for people around her. Her gentle and compassionate nature led her to pursue her interests in nursing, emergency medical care and veterinary care. Her keen wit and wonderful sense of humor were highlighted by an infectious laugh that resonated throughout our home. 

Adrienne was an avid reader and her other interests included camping and fishing and a variety of crafts including cross-stitching, knitting and painting.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially during the holidays.  She also enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle. She volunteered at Lollipop Farm.

            More than anything she was a devoted mother. Her joy in motherhood permeated her existence and was very beautifully apparent in her every day activities and interactions. She was the source of love and comfort in our home.

            She is survived by her parents Vanessa and Philip, her siblings Michael (Erin), Andrew and Nicole, her son Joseph, her niece Kayla, her nana Jeanette Attardi, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

             A special thanks to the nurses and other staff on the East 5 Wing at Highland Hospital for their kindness, dedication, compassion and wonderful care during Adrienne’s many visits to the hospital.

            Family and friends may call at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave. Webster on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 4pm – 7pm.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd. Webster.
