My prayers and sympathy to Bernie’s family. He may rest in peace. I just wanted to share this picture of him and his mom on his wedding day. Nothing compares the feeling of love from his momma to her sweet child. We will miss you brother.

Brenda and family - I am so very sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I remember Bernie as a happy, energetic boy when he was in elementary school with my daughter. May your many cherished memories help comfort you.
In sympathy,
Anne Hewitt

I have too many memories with my little brother, but one of my favorites and one I have always told people because it has never stopped being the funniest thing I've ever seen. When we were little and Bernie was about 5 or 6, we lived in a trailer with a long hallway, that had a door that led to outside, but didn't have any stairs, it was just a drop. Mine and his room was at the end of that hallway. One day he came running up the hallway and said "hey Mike, watch this"and as I looked up he slammed himself into the door and disappeared and I ran to the door laughing to see him standing in about 2 feet of snow and I shut the door on him and he had to run all the way around the trailer, into the front door, in just his underwear. My best memories in life, have always been with my brothers and I will never forget the impact we made on each other's lives. We had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, we had a brotherhood like no other and I'm really going to miss him more than anything. I love you man, you were the best brother anyone could ask for.
