What a very nice lady
I enjoyed playing with the girls and Mrs Kuttruff was always ready with a smile and say hello
I remember strawberry barrel I had never seen one before
And we loved playing in the lovely back yard games like wolf and pies and red light green light
Beautiful memories of a very nice family

My Aunt Cleda was one of the kindest, most patient people I’ve ever known. Growing up I “invaded” her house dozens of times to visit with my cousins, and to hang out with my special “cousin buddy” Dawn. We ran around like busy beavers in and out of the house, riding bikes far and wide, dancing, swimming, and playing our favorite music. Aunt Cleda never scolded or yelled, never seemed to be rattled by our childhood intensity. She would just chuckle at me (when I knew she might be thinking, slow it down Cindy!) My life would not have been the same in so many ways if not for my loving Aunt. She and my Uncle devised a plan to get Bob Elliott (Uncle Elwood’s friend) and my mom (Aunt Cleda’s sister Evelyn) together for a blind date - they were both single parents at the time! Well, miracle of miracles, they called it right, and my mom and Bob were married 6 months later! That birthed a whole new family of 6 children, eventually growing to 7!! Without my precious Aunt and her wise husband, my life would have been much different and potentially very sad. I’m so thankful and blessed to have had Aunt Cleda, who’s kindness and quiet compassion and encouragement was always present. I love you Aunt Cleda! See you later alligator, Cindy
