I'm so sad to have just heard this news. I advised newspapers at Webster Schroeder and Webster Thomas. Dave shared so much good and valuable advice, as I found my footing in the role of a school newspaper adviser. When tragedies hit (the death of two teens at Schroeder, the West Webster Firefighters tragedy, the death of a young man who'd gone to school at Thomas, for examples), Dave contributed financially to our memorial issues. I could go on and on, but Dave was a generous person who made the world a better place. Rest in peace, Dave.

I met David and Leslie at a sad time but they both made me feel comforted and welcomed me and my friend to their cottage! I loved and admired his Lego sets. He actually got them in motion so I could see them in action and answered my curious questions with pride! I am glad to have known him!

Too many memories to even start to list here. Seems as if we went through our teens together double dating with Dave and Les. Then we all got engaged and married at the same time. We shared so many great times like my water breaking at their house and the confusion that followed. After all none of us had gone through that yet. We were always there for each other through good times and bad. Dave will be missed by so many of us, but I think I will miss sharing all the wonderful and loving times we had. It was kind of like the four of us really grew up together. So, Dave when I think of you, I will remember your big heart, your silly laugh and most of all that impish smile. May you find peace and joy in the arms of our Lord. And may the love you are sending down to Les, Tim and Martha help them through this difficult time. With love and prayers to all Dave has touched in his life. Ken and Bev Kedzierski

I met Dave when I became friends with Lesley while being involved with Webster Theater Guild from the late 1990s. He was a dedicated worker and accomplished in carpentry work. I also worked a bit with Dave when I created the programs for the guild productions. He was always helpful and guided a rank amateur in how to set up the programs. They were meticulously printed and generously supplied. I feel fortunate to have met him and been benefitted by his guidance. Webster has lost a true native son. Dave, you will be missed. Rest in Peace. Lesley and Tim I hope your fond memories of you husband and dad help bring you to a place of peace in your hearts soon.
