Hi Dad,
I’m having a hard time today. I know that you are sick of watching me cry and I can hear you telling me to “stop that crying about me”. But, you and I both know that my tears are not just sad - they are happy too. I was just really blessed to have a father that I was able to tell everything to, even when you weren’t looking to hear everything. I loved that you took me to the bank almost every week. I loved that you let me deposit my $.17 or $1.24 for that week. I think at the end of the year, I had a total of $58.00! I loved that you would whistle while raking leaves and that you’d make me hot chocolate if I shoveled the driveway. I also loved that you drove the ugliest cavalier that had three different colored doors and that you stapled the felt to the ceiling so that it wouldn’t fall down on our heads. The car was so bad that you didn’t even yell at Sarah when she left crayons on the backseat that ended up melting from the sun. Thanks for all of the funny memories dad. But most importantly, thank you for being my dad, my friend, and now my guardian Angel. You are forever missed. I can’t wait to see you again. As it’s written in your phone (written by me)… “Your Favorite Daughter” Tiff

I was sorry to hear about Bob's passing. My prayers are with all his family. May the Lord grant him peace. Bob and I were in the same 1971 graduating class at St. John Fisher. We both became teachers after graduation. I knew that Bob taught English and I taught Mathematics. We happened to see each other years later when I was substituting in the Fairport Central School District.
I know that Bob was dedicated to helping young boys and girls learn and preparing them for their journey as they left high school. May God's blessing, love and peace be with you always.

Hi Allan,
Thank you for posting. I love hearing memories/stories of my dad. I am so happy that you were able to run into him again after graduating from college. My dad has always loved to run into people from childhood and college. I’m sure that he is smiling from up above and happy for your nice post. Thank you so much for your post as it means a lot to me.
Best Regards,

Bob and I always enjoyed a friendship based on mutual humorous teasing and I'll miss that. Of course Bob had many aspects to his out going personality. He was always a good listener, sincerely interested in others and a very caring individual. One of my favorite memories of Bob was a weekend fishing trip we shared at Jim Valentine's cottage on the St. Lawrence River. Our friendship goes back to our early teaching days together at Minerva Deland and we always enjoyed "catching up" at Wawrzycki's parties. I'll miss Bob but remembering him will bring a smile.

Hi Bob,
Your post had me smiling and laughing. I agree - my father was a great listener. He really was interested in what people had to say. You’ll have to fill me in sometime on what went on during your fishing trip with my dad. He is very much missed and hearing memories/stories about him is very touching.
Thanks so much,
Tiffany

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Robert?
A: Bob had a laugh like no one else! We heard it often, when he came to visit our mom. Though we didn't get to see each other as much as we would have liked, it was always so great to reminisce about the family. Bob will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy to Donna and the family.
