Hi Martha: My name is Carol Hickey & I'm the daughter of Lillian & Graham Hartzell. Our parents were very good friends & lived not too far from each other (my folks lived on Pinegrove Ave in Irondequoit). I'm very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I do remember your folks having fond memories of you & your family. I also remember having lunch with you & my mom. May Chuck rest in peace. Take care of yourself.

While I haven't seen Charlie in many years I remember his service to the Webster Schools where I lived and worked in the early 1980's. Charlie was bright, articulate and a consumer of information with a heart. Sincerest condolences to his family.

Chuck was a special part of my life growing up. He was the father of my best Nan, he taught our Sunday Confirmation class, he created a beautiful yearbook for our 6th grade elementary class and did many more wonderful things for all of us. Both he and Martha we're my beloved second set of parents. May he rest in peace now after a life well lived. Love and hugs to Martha, Nancy, Jen and their families.

Dear Martha and family, I was very sad to read Chuck’s obituary this morning, which was very impressive. As you know Chuck and I worked together for many years at Kodak and oversaw the production of some of the finest printing anywhere in this country. I am currently in Florida and will be unable to attend his funeral service.I realize that the last year was difficult for Chuck and he is now in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad and difficult time Tom Lunn
