I had the great pleasure of working with Lenny at WPD for a few years. He was a quiet and gentle kind of guy but did have a sense of humor. What I will always remember about Lenny when he was dressed in full uniform, were his shoes, the shiniest shoes I had ever seen and they made that uniform shine. Rest easy Lenny, we will miss seeing you this year camping in Henderson Harbor.

When I first met “Big Pops”, I was afraid of him and didn’t think he liked me. Once I got to know him and spend time with him and the family, I got to know what a gentle giant he was and what a big, loving heart he had. I am so lucky I got to spend the time I did as an extended part of the family and get to know him. He will be missed ❤️

We had the privilege of being Lenny and Sharon's summertime neighbors. We shared many campfires with lots of laughter. Those memories will be held dear, Lenny will surely be missed. He was such a great man with a caring soul. Our prayers go out to Sharon, Karen and Steve.❤️

Webster had a blizzard with over a hundred cars stuck on RT 104 and I was at the PD and got a phone call from Sharon in tears. Lenny was in hospital and had been released but all the roads were closed and no traffic was allowed out. Lenny wanted somebody to come and get him home. We told Sharon we would do our best to try and get him home. The outlets bridge was still passable so I took off for RGH. Thankfully I had my all wheel drive Mountainer and made it to the hospital in about a 45 minute trip. I got to Lennys flloor and walked into his room as he sat in bed he looked at nurse “I told you someone would get to me!” We loaded up flowers and took off for Webster. We got to his house Sharon and the kids had dug a path through a 6 foot high snow drift to get him home. Seeing the look on the kids and Sharon’s face when he got home was worth the world. RIP brother.
