Obituary of Ronald D. Freida

Ronald D. Freida- 3/20/1938-2/08/2023

 

Predeceased by his wife, Beverly Freida; parents, George and Harriet “Tudy” Freida; brother, Kenny Freida; sister, Patty Passe. Ron is survived by his brother, Gordy (Mary) Freida; sister, Kay (Jim) Sweetheime;, sister-in-law, Donna Freida; children, Wendy (Bruce) Dan, Ronald (Michelle) Freida, Timothy (Lisa) Freida, Gerry (Wendy) Freida, Rebecca (Jack) Inman, Carrie Reeg; grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff) Spaker, Jaime Rotolo, Ross (Meredith) Freida, Lynn (Steve) Quayle, Luke, Reed and Olivia Freida, Jake (Yamaris) Freida, Celia (Justin Ziobroski) Freida, Tanner Freida, Jack (Meghan) Inman, Noah (Rebekah) Inman, Grace (Daniel) Farrell, Daniel (Grace) Inman, Ada Reeg, Chloe Reeg; and 15 great-grandchildren.

 

Ron was born in Rochester and raised his family in Webster, NY. He was married to Bev, his childhood sweetheart, for 64 years filled with love and laughter. Ron was an outstanding father to his 6 children and enjoyed every moment possible with his 16 grandchildren and eventually his great-grandchildren. After owning his own business for many years, he spent his final career years at AAA as Manager of the Emergency Road Service Department.

 

Above all, Ron was a stellar example to his family and friends of how to live your life well. He taught everyone how to work hard, take care of your family, be there for your friends and help others who needed it no matter what. He will be sorely missed but always remembered by all with a smile.

 

Friends may call 11:00-12:30 Saturday, February 11 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where his Memorial Service will follow at 12:30 PM.  Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
