Obituary of Jean C. Schyve

          Webster: Jean C. Schyve, 76, passed away unexpectedly at Rochester General Hospital on Friday, January 27, 2023. Jean was born in Williamson, NY on February 21, 1946, to Raymond and Geraldine Schyve. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Jon Schyve.

          Jean is survived by her cousins, Mary (Paul) Slotegraaf, Amy Johnson, Noel Johnson, Fay (Marc) Kahn, Nancy Aumann, and Carol (Michael) Fayette; sister-in-law, Nancy West; niece, Terri Beth Roudebush; and many extended relatives and friends.

          Jean graduated from Williamson High School in1964 and Alfred State College in 1966. She retired from Xerox in 2001 after 35 years of dedicated service. In retirement, Jean volunteered as a secretary for many years at the Webster Christian School.

          Jean will be remembered as a considerate, generous, and unassuming person. She was a woman of detail, an avid reader, and never ceased to amaze her friends and family with her sharp memory of dates and events.

          Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jean’s Funeral Service on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 11:00 at Willard Scott H. Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Pultneyville.
