Obituary of Jeanne Rice (Sandberg)

          Webster, formerly of Frewsburg, NY:  Sunday, December 11, 2022, age 85.  Predeceased by her husband, Larry Sandberg;  grandson, Jonathan Sandberg.  She leaves her husband, Robert Rice;  children, Stephen (Regina) Sandberg, Dennis (Donna) Sandberg and Dianne (Tim) Reidy;  grandchildren, Michelle (Justin) Massecar, Patrick (Tania) Reidy, Michael (Katie) Reidy, Thomas C. Reidy, Buddy (Crystal) Smith and Casey Smith;  great-grandchildren, Emma, Kate, Rowan, Savannah, Avery, Celine, Caila, Myles, Zephyr, Dominicka and Anthony.

            Jeanne was the Organist at Zion Lutheran Church in Frewsburg for many years, as well as teaching piano lessons in her home.  She was also active in the Jamestown Music Study Club.  She had a beautiful smile, faithful soul, and welcoming presence that will be missed by all.

            Having friends and family in different areas of the state, services will be celebrated in two different locations:  11:00-12:00 visitation Friday, December 16 at Zion Lutheran Church,  45 Falconer St, Frewsburg, NY, where her Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 noon, and a Memorial Service 1:00 PM Saturday, December 17 at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Rd., Webster.  Interment, Sunset Cemetery, Lakewood, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cameron Community Ministries, 48 Cameron St., Rochester, NY 14606 or Wilmore Elementary School, Family Resource Center, 150 Campground Lane, Wilmore, KY 40390.
