I love this man! We often hear it: Close friends and family members passing way too soon. This holds true for Dan; we can only imagine the grief. As a man who truly loved God, his wife Clare, and his beautiful family, I know 100% that Dan is walking with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Ecclesiastes 3, Verses 1-22 may enlighten: Verse 2: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; Dan knew everything about molding the Earth...from being an incredible Planter to an amazing Excavator. The analogy holds for how Dan lived and cultivated his relationships with all. I can hear Dan now, "Well, what's next?" Dan may have been "Plucked" way too soon, but the timing is all God's; imagine having to wait 64 years to see your Son face to face. My condolences to the entire family.

I've known Clare since she was a baby, but I've met Dan only once. He greeted my husband , Bob, and myself with open arms on one of our visits to Holy Trinity for Mass. He asked us to be sure and come back. Well, I wish I had gotten to know him better. You never know what's right around the corner! My sincere condolences to the whole family.

Clare, My heart goes out to you. Wow - a grandchild & now a husband! Although none of us have kept in close contact, I think of you anytime I pass by your home, or the house you grew up in. I have such wonderful memories of your whole family. I doubt I'll be able to get to calling hours, but please give a warm "hello" to your siblings from me. May the peace of the season be with you all.

Let's face it Dan Schreiber was a good guy. He was a customer of mine since the 1980's. When he called he, stepped to the head of the line. He was a likeable guy and a loyal customer. I was sad when I heard my friend Dan passed away. To the family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Andy Hill
