Obituary of Frederick Kalsbeek

           Rochester: On Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 96, Fred went home to be with the Lord. Predeceased by his loving wife, Roberta “Bobbie”. He leaves his daughters, Thea Hare and Celeste (Thom) Nykamp; grandchildren, Alissa (Nathan Schley) Hare and David (Abby) Hare, Andrea Nykamp and Alexandra (Reese) Evans; great-granddaughter, Violet Hare; and niece, Jill Griffin.

            Fred was a WWII veteran, a builder of over 20 custom homes and a realtor. His most valued jobs were being a good neighbor, humble servant, devoted son, loving husband, and endearing dad and grandpa.

            Friends may call 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, December 3 at the Lodge at Grace Church, 805 Blossom Road, Rochester, NY 14610. His Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 AM in the Church. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Grace Church.
