There are no words that can every truly express the love and respect I have for this beautiful women. Pauline gave me a safe space when I needed it and shared her faith when I had lost my own. Her love for movies and reading was shared abundantly with me and I have passed it on to my son as well. She impacted the course of my life simply by her kindness and joy.
I will never be able to drive around Sodus or the Point without thinking of her favorite places, feeding the ducks or driving just to drive with the music up loud.

Pauline was a truly unique person. I first knew her as a parent of my student Susan. I went on to know her as a reading assistant for some of my students,. After awhile I became her principal and observed her many times. In my last years, after I returned to the classroom, i had the honor of having her work In my room as my reading assistant. She was someone who always gave her all, knew each child in depth and was always ready to do her job. I have so many special moment recollections in my interaction with her. Pauline, you made me a better teacher and Principal. Your energy was remarkable and the students always enjoyed your interaction with them. You bring a smile to my face. You will be missed!
