Obituary of Adelbert G. "Jerry" Knopp
Passed away on October 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Resided in Sun City Center, FL, formerly of Webster, NY. Born in Syracuse, NY October 5, 1936. Predeceased by his wife, Marilyn Barnard Knopp. Jerry was the only son of Leonard and Margaret Powell Knopp. In addition, Jerry had a sister, Edith Marjorie Powell. Employed as a Model Maker at Xerox. Jerry had a passion for the outdoors, camping, boating, motorcycles and golf.
He leaves behind his beloved children, Daniel (Judy) Knopp, Jeanette (Adam Rovit) Ballou, Paula (Steven) Sippel and Mark Knopp; former son-in-law, Gregory Ballou; grandchildren, Christina (Shane) King, Brian (Heather) Knopp, Amanda (Adam Houpt) Knopp, Lauren (Moe Vizafeh) Ballou, Colin Ballou, Erin (Nina Zesky) Ballou, Thomas Sippel and Caitlin (Kenneth) Koonz; great-grandchildren, James, Natalie, Colton, Daniel, Allison and Lily.
Friends may call 5-8 PM Tuesday, October 25 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, NY. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 26 at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster. Interment at the convenience of the family at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, NY. Memorials may be directed to Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Service, 6334 Bennett St., Williamson, NY 14589 or National Kidney Foundation, 1344 University Ave #270, Rochester, NY 14607.
