Obituary of Allan R. Hunderup
Webster: Thursday, September 29, 2022, two weeks short of his 90th birthday after a short illness.
Allan was born in Michigan, grew up in Denmark, and moved back to the U.S. in high school. After serving in the Marines, he graduated from Worchester Tech and moved to Rochester where he met Lynn, his wife of 58 years. Allan was known for his big heart, always putting others first. Active until the very end, Allan could be found swimming laps at the local pool or walking around his retirement community, always taking time to speak to his many friends. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he will be missed by all.
Allan is preceded in death by his wife, Lynn; son, Jim. He is survived by his son, Peter; daughter-in-law Shanna, grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew. No funeral services are planned.
