Obituary of Carol Schmitt

            Webster: Sunday, October 2, 2022, age 78. Born on September 27^th, 1944, in Rochester. Predeceased by her father, Fred Fox; mother, Minnie Fox [Hale]; stepmother, Lucile Fox; sisters-in-law, Patricia Schmitt and Kathy Burton; stepsister, Carol Contestabile; stepbrothers, Len and Greg Schlueter. She leaves her husband of 57 years, Richard Schmitt; children, Richard (Andrea) Schmitt, Randal (Kelly) Schmitt; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ethan Schmitt, Owen and Luke Manley; sister, Jane (Larry) Carter; brother-in-law, Peter (Debbie) Schmitt; sister-in-law, Mary (Mike) Keech; stepsister; Cindy Mayer; stepsisters-in-law, Kathy Schlueter and Marcia Schlueter; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

            Carol was active in her church, United Church of Christ, in Webster. She loved animals, golf, and spending time with family and friends. She worked at Kodak for over 25 years.

            Friends are invited to her Celebration of Life 11:00 AM Saturday, October 15, at United Church of Christ, 570 Klem Rd., Webster. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Church of Christ in Carol’s name.
