Obituary of Richard Fortman

          Webster: Tuesday, August 30, 2022, passed peacefully at the age of 93.

          He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Anna; children, Kathleen Daitz, Margaret (Joseph) Piccolello, Gerald (Mary) Fortman; and grandchildren, Stephanie Fortman, David (Heather) Fortman, Adam Daitz, and Eric (fiancée Lisa Rogers) Daitz.

          He served his country honorably in the US Navy. Retired from Eastman Kodak Co.

          Richard loved sports and was active in coaching Pop Warner Football, raising money for Challenger Miracle Field, and organizing annual Bocce tournaments.

          He was wickedly competitive, loved dancing, and getting people involved. We will all miss his sly wit and smile.

          The family wishes to thank the entire St. Ann's Community at Cherry Ridge Staff for their support and kindness.

          A service for Richard will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the Cherry Ridge Chapel, 900 Cherry Ridge Blvd., Webster.
