Obituary of Gerald P. Beaudin
Webster: Wednesday, August 3, 2022, age 93, passed away peacefully at his home, after his courageous battle with dementia. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Joan Seems Beaudin; 6 children, Greg (Sharon) Beaudin, Vicki Ann Mykins, Wendy Hackett, Randy (Laurie) Beaudin, Glenn (Valerie) Beaudin and Douglas (Deena) Beaudin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. He is predeceased by parents, Gerald P. and Angela Lindsay Beaudin Sr.; sister, Joyce Moses; sons-in-law, Jim Mykins and Ron Hackett.
Gerald was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and received awards for his service. Gerald was a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, worked for Rochester Products and General Motors and retired in 1988. He was a leader, inventor, and craftsman in several areas. Gerald was an avid reader, traveler, loved dancing and playing card games; particularly Skip-Bo, where he was the reining Beaudin family champion. He was very proud of his service to his country and was given the opportunity to attend Honor Flight of Rochester’s mission 41, where he enjoyed every second.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 9 at St. Rita’s Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster. Interment at West Webster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Honor Flight of Rochester, PO Box 23581 Rochester NY, 14692, on Jerry’s behalf. Willard H. Scott Funeral Home.
