What wonderful memories I have of Judie. I am a member of ASG as well and we shared many wonderful times together - sharing sewing stories, patterns, etc. What a delight she was and the picture you shared captured her love of life. I'll keep that memory of her along with many more. She shared so much with so many - what a gift she was to our world. She also was very generous to my personal project of making hats for chemo patients and gave me many checks in honor of her mother. I will return some of that to one of her charities. We have lost a beautiful light in our world, but perhaps we can follow her lead and keep her spirit of generosity in all of us.

Bruce and family, we were so deeply saddened to hear of Judie’s passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
We will miss Judie stopping by on the golf cart to chat and she said she liked to stop to see what was new in our gardens. Raine is planning on adding a memorial for Judie in our Angel Garden. Please stop by anytime and visit the garden memorial and share a memory with us.
Our deepest sympathy,
Ron and Raine Montante

Even though I never was able to meet Judie, her daughter Katharine is a good friend and I can credit "Mom" for being such a great role model and showing her daughter how to be a caring and compassionate person. My prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow.

The very first gift we received for our first grandchild was from Judie who had made a special bib for him. It is a gift we still have and cherish. We will miss seeing Judie and Bruce always together on our Shady Shores Road. Such a special lady.

We will surely miss Judie’s smile and conversations as she and Bruce cruised Shady Shores in their golf cart. She always had a sweet pat for our pups and a story of her family pets when we walked by. Sending our condolences, David and Kathy Jacobowitz

After hearing the news yesterday of Judie's sudden passing, I was immediately on a trip down memory lane. So many adventures came streaming in my mind. I was part of the 'loose threads', and the driver for our group. I had the van that could hold us and our packages. We made a trip to Indiana to visit my Mom, and lots of quilt shops. When we were served cheesecake for dessert, Judie immediately dubbed is as 'The Golden Girls'. That was the first time we compared ourselves to the 'Golden Girls'.
Judie and I were roommates at 'Stitch Camp'. We decided, after running into each other at Walmart, to get matching pajamas. When we all got together for night time snacks, Judie and I donned our matching jammies and sang 'sisters' for the groups entertainment.
Judie was so very special and I am truly blessed to have called her 'friend'. God bless Judie and her beautiful family. Sally Kohler
