Obituary of Lawrence E. Akins

           Webster/Ontario, NY: Thursday, June 9, 2022, age 89. Survived by his children, Craig W. (Sheryl) Akins and Kevin T. (Mary Alice) Akins; grandchildren, Craig M. (Christina) Akins, Katelyn (Andrew) Wagner; great-grandchildren, Brantley, Blake, Aubrey, Maxwell, and Lila; sister, Shirley (Ron) Schreiner. Predeceased by his wife, Janet Akins; close friends, Ed and Ginny Lindner.

            Larry served in the Navy during the Korean War. He loved “The Ohio State” football, but most of all, he adored his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Larry retired from DuPont Rochester and enjoyed over 30 years of retirement. A special thanks to Wayne and Rosalie Conklin for many caring years.

            A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 28 at Webster Rural Cemetery.
