Obituary of Robert Wilbert

Buffalo: Robert passed peacefully while in hospice care at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo after a long battle with cancer on May 25, 2022 at the age of 68. Robert was a man of many talents and always ready to take on, and lead, any project. He was the life of the party and enjoyed playing cards and horseshoes, spending time at camp, and cooking. He loved being with his family and planning outings to do together.

Father of Michael Wilbert, Melissa Wilbert, and Marcia (Wayne) Rich; loving grandfather of Daniel and Colin Rich; dear brother to Beatrice Hepburn, Helen (Orrin) Switzer, Marjorie (Fred) Switzer, James (Sharon Clark) Wilbert, and David (Diane) Wilbert; and uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Bernice Wilbert of Webster, NY and sister, Virginia.

Robert’s adventurous and mischievous personality will be deeply missed.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday, June 3 at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster.
