Obituary of Raymond P. Verkest

Webster:  Thursday, April 28, 2022, age 87.  He leaves his wife of 59 years, Jean;  children, Lori Verkest (Steve Schultz) and Linda Verkest;  brother, Gerard (Marion) Verkest;  many cousins and friends. Ray retired from the Webster Post office after 30 years of service.  He had also farmed for many years.  A long-time member of Holy Trinity Church, Ray also enjoyed bowling in a league at Empire Lanes and was an avid Syracuse Basketball fan.

Friends may call 3-8 Wednesday, May 4 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday, May 5 at Holy Trinity Chrurch, 1460 Ridge Road, Webster.  Interment, Holy Trinity Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to Lollypop Farm.
