I have the most wonderful memories of the stories of Dave and my Dad hiking trails, camping, and paddling. I’ll also never forget the neighborhood parties and the fun and laughter Dave and Mary brought to them. Dave was dabbling in photography when I got married and my wedding pics are still beautiful. It’s hard to imagine a world without “Smitty” in it—he was truly one of a kind. robin Finley

So many memories of David and Mary, Not sure where to start. When I graduated from high school I moved in with Mary and David, they charged me $5 a week (which many times I had to borrow back ) I broke a window in my bedroom, which David taught me how to fix, (no way would he do it for me, good life lesson). But the favorite memories I have are the amazing New Year’s Eve dinners we would have, David was an amazing cook and taught me to try and appreciate new foods, which to this day I do! Thanks for the amazing memories David!
