We hadn't heard from Millie in the last year and having lost her phone number I did a search and found she had died. We had only met Millie and her husband John for the first time a few years ago and made the trip to Rochester as we were invited as were my brother John and his wife Connie. We were invited for dinner and John had prepared an elaborate dinner with all kinds of breads and cheese. Then John grilled fabulous prime rib. You could see he took pride in his cooking and everything was perfect. This was our first meeting with our first cousin in our lifetime as her mother and my father were close but with the loss of their father James in 1918 the families were split. Millie was a look alike to our uncle Dan Benson. Millie was a TRUE BEIEVER in Jesus as he radiated from Her. It was our Honor to meet our Cousin Millie. Prayers for the family. Richard Benson

We were team mates along with John and Marie for almost 20 years of bocce. In the beginning, we were the team to beat, later on, not so much but we always had the best time together. Love, Sam Salamone

We first met Millie and John at a flea market in Bradenton Florida and it was instant friendship. She was such a friendly and inviting lady. We remember how she loved healthy eating and holistic life style books and tried to reform John who loved his pasta. Millie will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Dear Murphy girls and the Cama family,
I am so sorry for your great loss. I have very fond memories of being your neighbor on Bayview Road in Irondequoit. All of us kids in the neighborhood called them Uncle Eddie and Aunt Millie. Pool parties, picnics, bike rides, dancing with Pam and so many more memories that I will cherish forever. She was a wonderful lady. I wish I could be there in person to give my respects. Sending you all comfort, light and love from Florida.
