I First met Lou in Seventh grade in 1958. He was teaching Graphic Arts at the time. I always enjoyed his low keyed demeanor and always enjoyed his classes. I recall in 7 th. grade I accidentally dropped a gallon glass bottle of glue on the floor. Glue was everywhere. I think he wanted to explode on me but didn't. As a young kid, I was very appreciative. I felt bad enough being so clumsy. I can still see it now. Eventually I became an Industrial Arts teacher and spent 32 years at Fairport High School. He was one of the teachers who influenced me in my career choice. I would see Lou from time to time at County Association meetings and always enjoyed talking with him and my shop experience with him, Glen and Jim. at RL Thomas. Please accept my condolences for your loss. He was a good man. David Privatera
