Obituary of Thomas F. Lombardo, Sr.
Webster: Tom died peacefully at home on Tuesday morning, January 11, 2022, surrounded by his family at the age of 56 after a seven-year battle with cancer. Tom was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him. He will be most remembered for his kind and giving heart, his love of learning, and making people laugh and smile. Predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Patricia. He leaves his loving wife of 33 years, Kris; four children, Katherine (Jonathan) Harper, Rebecca (Bradley) Lombardo, Thomas (Caitlin) Lombardo, Jr., Matthew (Carly) Lombardo, who were the light of his life. He also leaves his sisters, Christine (Jeff) Stephenson, Annemarie (Carl) Cirone; sister-in-law, Diana (Maureen) LaBar; brother-in-law, Ryan Burns, and many nieces and nephews – all whom he loved so very much. He leaves behind many friends that were like his family. Tom also leaves his pups, Oliver, Bailey, and Cocobella.
Tom grew up in Monroe, NY and moved to Webster 22 years ago with Kris and their four children. You could always find Tom playing the guitar, fishing, outside in his gardens, in the garage fixing something, watching the Mets or cheering on his favorite team, the Buffalo Bills. Tom loved hanging with his kids, having adventures with Kris, traveling, getting lost, spending time with his friends, and cooking.
Tom’s family would like to thank the staff of the U of R Hospice team who made his final days comfortable, especially his nurse, Carolyn, PA Michelle, and also the staff at Interlakes Oncology, who were a blessing to his family, most of all Dr. Alex Solky.
