The memories we all shared as young families on the sidelines of the Xerox Flag Football seasons for years, with “Gordie” or Dr Gordon as he fondly wanted to be called . As quarterback, Gordie led them to years of championships and the trophies were coveted for years in the future. Thanks Gordie for being the leader for the science Nerd team that everyone wanted to dethrone, but never could. That arm belonged in the NFL. We’ll miss you and all the family events that melded us into one big happy family. We know that Carolyn and the kids will have those memories to help them deal with this loss. And so will do many that knew him during those wonderful years!! Sincere Sympathy From Jim and Sharon.

We fondly remember Gordon as an apartment mate and fellow researcher at Cornell. He was not only sharp, but very capable and careful in his work. He was proud of his family and their achievements.
