I am so sorry for the loss of such a good man in Kent Handley. I wish Kent knew how many lives he really touched and how he really made a difference. Kent will be remembered for his loyalty and devotion to the family and friends he cared about; his sensitivity & his love that came from his huge ❤️ heart. My prayers are for Kent - may God rest his soul - and his surviving family and many friends who will miss him greatly. For family & friends; I ask God for His strength right now as we mourn Kent's passing. To my good friend: I will see you in the next world sometime; may God Bless your soul. You are loved and will be missed.

I worked with Kent for many years at RGH. He loved his job and told me many times that working in Security at RGH was the highlight of his work career. He had a fondness for police, firefighters, military personnel or health care workers. He loved his family and spoke of them often. RIP my friend

Margo, Paul, Brett and family,
I am so sorry to learn of Kent’s passing. I met Kent when I was a police officer in Webster and he was with the explorer program. Kent and I spent a lot of time together on numerous “ride alongs”. After graduating high school he continued to stay in touch and we became friends. Kent was always very kind and devoted friend to many. We had recently spoke just last month and caught up about what was going on in his life. He always spoke glowingly about his family and especially his nieces. I will miss our phone conversations. I sincerely hope you can find peace during these days and weeks ahead. Our prayers are with you all.
Mike, Judy and the rest of the Scott family.

Kent Handley is one of the most gentle, kindest human beings I have ever known. Kent cared about everyone - was the type who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. I'm blessed & thankful in sharing friendship w/ this wonderful guy - one who left us much too soon!
My intro to Kent is via compliments of my good friend Jamie Klein. My fav. memory is of the 3 of us playing football in the field behind Jamie's house; Kent was our best blocker! May God Bless your soul, good friend. Miss you!

Having met in 1981 when we were in kindergarten, Kent was my oldest friend. Riding bikes, playing “guns” as we acted like cops busting drug dealers, building snow forts, hanging out at Mayer’s, watching movies until late (Kent would always fall asleep first) playing Contra on Nintendo, riding in my father’s MASH ambulance during an air show where Kent played a wounded soldier, hanging out at Cub Scouts where we purposely tried to make each other laugh… we even worked together at Pizza Hut for several years. While we drifted apart as we got older, we would still text silly memes to one another and always wished each other a happy birthday. His love for his nieces knew no bounds, talking about them always. He made sure to even visit my father whose health took a bad turn in November. One of our favorite movies growing up as kids was Revenge of the Nerds which we would recite occasionally along with Porky’s. I watched Revenge of the Nerds last night thinking of my old friend and couldn’t stop crying. Sending all my love and strength to Margo, Paul, and Brett during this difficult time. In between my tears, I’ll be thinking of the good times we shared.
