Obituary of Patrick L. Smith Sr.

Webster:  Friday, December 17, 2021, age 67.  Suddenly. Predeceased by his parents, Lewis “Whitey” and Mary Smith; brother, Gregory Smith; best friend, Craig “Hammer” Fargo.  He leaves his wife of 42 years, Michele; children, Andrew, Ian (Shannon), Patrick Jr., Jacob and Jennifer; grandchildren, Alexis, Angelina and Jacob Jr.; siblings, Mary Margaret (Mike) Baldwin, Geraldine (John) Dank and Bernadette Smith; sister-in-law, Kathy Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Patrick worked for Eastman Kodak Company, in molding and product development, retiring in 1993. He had a love for sports and coached IAA & WAA for 25 years. He courageously battled Crohn’s disease most of his life. Our family would like to thank Dr. R. Kornfield and Dr. G. Sirotenko who assisted in his treatment.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation are appreciated. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday, December 22 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster, where his Funeral Service will be held 10:30am Thursday, December 23.  Interment, Webster Union Cemetery.
