Obituary of Ann Marie (McSweeney) Klos
Penfield: at 88 years, passed away peacefully at her home in Penfield on December 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. A proud resident of the Rochester area, Ann lived her life with intention and a commitment to excellence. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother filled with grace, kindness, and wit. She had a true green thumb and shared her love of gardening with all. Ann was a dedicated nurse who had a positive impact in the Rochester area thru a lifetime of Rochester Public Health and Penfield School nursing. As a 48-year member of the First Baptist Church of Penfield, she was an active leader with her church family, focusing on education and community Service.
Ann is predeceased by her parents and brother. Survived by her loving husband of 64 years Robert (Bob) Klos; daughters, Amy Hunter and Gail Oddo; grandsons, Scott Hunter and Joel Oddo; and nieces Mary Blick and Maureen Roets.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Ann’s excellent care givers Donna, Beth, Shelley, Cathy, and T. for allowing her to stay home in the place she loved most.
Friends may call 2-5 PM Sunday, December 5, at Willard H Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. A private family burial is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Penfield. To leave a condolence, please visit www.willardhscott.com.
