Tim is a wonderful man, and this is an incredible loss. I will miss his jokes, his impressions, his nicknames and character voices. I always knew it would be a fun time if Mr. Dailor (and eventually Bampa T) was going to be there. Sending so much love to your family as you navigate this new era. We don't have Tim with us anymore, but I see his influence in his family everyday, and it's a beautiful thing <3

Mary- My heart goes out to you and your family! I will forever cherish the great times and memories I had with Tim. He was a great Union Officer and did so much for Local 1170. He always had a smile on his face and made us all smile with him, no matter what was going on. I know Tim will surely be missed by all who knew him. May God bring you comfort in the days ahead. Sending Hugs- Dene

Uncle Tim had such a warm and welcoming personality, it's a tremendous loss now that he's gone. I always looked forward to seeing him whenever our family visited Rochester. His story telling and his infectious laughter always brought a smile to everyone's face. I can't even recall any specific stories or adventures he would talk about, I just remember how everyone felt when he told them, each one ending with everyone laughing and smiling.
My heart and thoughts go out to the whole family in this sad time. Uncle Tim will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Mr. D was one of the kindest souls I believe I’ve ever met and I’m pretty sure all who knew him would agree. For 20+ years Mr. D and Momma D have been such a wonderful supportive second family I had no idea could even exist. Their true welcoming nature made them the parents you actually WANTED to hang out with in High School. They always showed up for the big stuff too, and that always meant a lot through the years. The Dailors have always been like second parents to myself and many others I know, that’s just who they are. I can still hear Mr. D’s chuckle and laughs, his many nick names for his loved ones and Nick the dog of course. It was such a beautiful thing to witness the true love and admiration for his children and his wonderful wife he had. I will always cherish the many BBQ’s and Christmas Eve’s spent at their home where Mr. D was always the life of the party, sharing his many stories, warm heart and welcoming spirit. He was such a gift to this world and will be so deeply missed.

My sister, KeRRi, married into the DailoR family. She’s a lucky lady! Tim was such an amazing man and left such an amazing legacy. He always greeted us with warmth and made us feel like we were his family, too. My nephew Noel sure loved his “Bampa T”. I’m blessed to have the Dailor influence rubbing off on my children.

For those of us lucky enough to know Tim, you couldn't help but admire the love he had for his family and life itself. I didn't know him on a deeply personal level, but by way of friendship with Matt, Megan and Maureen I had the pleasure of meeting their Dad when their parents hosted a backyard bbq. He could not have made a stranger feel more welcome and at home. That was the first time I had ever heard someone do a proper toast over an adult beverage and you couldn't help but smile because he did it like no other! On occasion, I would run into Tim at Wegmans while I was on my lunch breaks from work and he'd always greet me with a smile and we'd share a quick laugh before we went about our ways. That brief interaction always made the rest of the day a little bit better. He just had a presence that brightened the mood around him and cheered up those he came in contact with. That's how I'll always remember him.
To the Dailor family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

When Nancy and I volunteered for the Bingo team at St James so many years ago we didn't know it would grow into a lifelong friendship! It started with the Bingo team! Then we became the Pictionary folks, celebrating many New Year's Eves together, along with the summer of sausages, and our St Patty's day events as well!. We traveled together, from Alaska to Ireland to Iceland, Myrtle beach and to Tampa.! We loved our walk-about Wednesdays, and the geocaching times we spent together.
Mary, we are blessed to have you and Tim in our lives!
Tim was a great friend and colorful personality who brought joy and laughter to any gathering!
I respected him for the family man he was and the loyal friend he was to me and many others as well.
Thankfully we shared many great memories together, so many stories that have been told and retold but continue to be enjoyed as if we never heard them before!
We will miss him so much......

We have fond memories of Tim. On occasion we would run into Tim at T’s around breakfast. He always had a good word and a bright smile to share with us. We especially remember the twinkle in his eye as we shared stories about his and our grandson, Noel. We will always remember Tim is “Bampa T” as he made such great memories for Noel. Neil & Jan

Tim 77 years wasn't enough, we wanted you for many more.. We have many great memories from working together at the Union Hall over the years, but my greatest memory is of you being the Master of Ceremony at my retirement dinner. I was so proud to have you standing up there telling tales of our time together. You will be missed friend. RIP.

Tim’s picture says it all. His smile brightens the day! When Tim talked about his family his pride and love as a husband, dad, and grandfather was apparent. He will forever surround all of you with his loving care.
I admired Tim for his love of life, positive attitude, sense of adventure, and loyalty to his family and friends. If laughter is the best medicine, I received a healthy dose every time we were together. Tim coined the phrase “Dauntless Don” and I can still hear him calling Don that. I know Don enjoyed his weekly breakfasts, texts, and emails with Tim. God bless you, Tim! We will miss you!

Tim was liked by all and he was bigger than life, clichés you might think, but this was the truth. He had an easy going demeanor and every time we saw him, he had a smile and said something positive. A TRUE IRISHMAN.
Many times when we were alone walking out of T’s restaurant, I was so proud to tell him, “Tim, you’re a lucky man, Mary is such a caring wife who adores you and you raised 3 fantastic children” Tim would just nod his head with agreement. Never to brag or boast. He loved his 3 M kids and once he mentioned that little rascal, Matthew, who would give him a run for his money or be feuding with his sisters is now a manager for Wegmans, opening their new stores. “Wow, unbelievable” he exclaimed.
I will surely miss his Italian expression, “ Thatsa Nice” , but he was a true American Veteran, proud of his country, one who bled Red, White and Blue. We miss you terribly, Timothy. God Bless You.

Whether you were a dorky teen showing up at his house with a loud drum set or an adult enjoying a cold beverage with him, Tim always greeted you with a welcoming smile. His infectious laugh and genuinely joyful personality always made you feel like there was no one else in the world he'd rather be talking to. His love for his family and his bright, positive attitude were apparent in everything he did. Tim will be greatly missed by all of us that were lucky enough to know him.

I don't have a specific memory to share, more just the fact that the reason Tim was so great was that every time I saw him it felt like the highlight of the day. He had a way about him that made everyone feel happier. What a huge loss.

I am devastated to learn of Tim’s passing (AKA: TD, YTD, YGT). We met in Kindergarten at School 36, and have been friends ever since. In our young days we played sports, played instruments, fished and smoked cigars. Our laughing fits were legend. In our old age, we tried to meet monthly for Breakfast Club. We constantly heard of the deep and abiding love Tim had for his family. I will miss his mischievous smile, twinkling eyes, story-telling, and mostly his infectious laugh. I miss him terribly.

Tim-one of the truly good guys. The world will be less bright without his dazzling smile and never ending kindness. The laughs and tears we’ve shared over the years will live in our hearts always.
Until we meet again.

Dear Mary, Matt, Megan, and Maureen, we are so sorry for your loss. Nothing will make this easy for you, but hold tight to each other, as Timmy would have you do, and you will get through.
I have so many happy memories growing up with Mary & Tim in my life. One of my first memories is being so excited to see them because I knew that meant I'd get to do my favorite thing with Tim...walk up his legs and flip over ~ something my own dad would never let us do, and mom couldn't even watch us do with Timmy without yelling something about our arms getting ripped out of their sockets. Other memories I have: watching cut-throat badminton games in the yard on Merchants Road; riding home after babysitting the kids and Tim not pulling out of our driveway until I flashed the kitchen light to let him know I was in safely; Christmas Eves spent with the Dailors, playing board games and hearing that incredible laugh, and not being able to keep yourself from smiling or bursting into laughter too. Our January wedding - 9 days after your own wedding anniversary - when a "small thing" like open heart surgery (was it only 11 or 12 days beforehand?) didnt stop Timmy from attending. Do you know how incredible that was? How very special we still feel because of that? We are truly blessed for having known him.
Thank you for sharing Timmy with us for all of these decades. We will miss him for the rest of our lives. We love you all so much and are holding you in our hearts.
Love, Tara & Jason
