Dang, to have to say goodbye to the 'favorite' cousin on this side, it is heart wrenching to say the least. For all the times after Cousin Bernie passed when she stopped over by herself to all the times they stopped over as a family, just to stay hi....usually ending up staying for dinner or arriving in time for dessert...my hysterical memories of OUR Kooky Cousin LaRae will never go by the wayside. Love you all, hoping for more memories to be made with you chicks, the kids and those hubbies....always in our hearts....Deirdre

Ditto to all my Mom said. LaRae was truly special to my heart and memories. From weekend camping with the Plains up in Sodus with Dianne, to the wonderful Melowive memories.! This photo remains in my Wedding album and she was a hit with the entertainment that day 35 years ago.... NOW I think I am understanding that "Get up and go.. thing" :) LaRae, You are remembered and CELEBRATED with a legacy of music, drama, curiosity, and family times! You always welcomed all into your family !
Colleen, Margret , Yvonne, my sincere sympathy and tribute to your precious mother.! I love picturing her praying with Jesus for all of us!!....and then out for her antique treasure finds in Heaven! :) with Dianne!
Love, Betty Anne

For anyone who knew LaRae I want try to take up where Betty left off. I had a garage sales she stayed awhile and asked many questions about antiques, clearly to make acquaintance and gather information. To make a long story short, it grew from there. We toured garage and estate sales three days a week and then some, acquired much, plus knowledge thereof. For a person who liked to sleep in she only missed three times when told she would need to be here by 7 AM As time went on our families got to know each other. She enjoyed being part of the antique shows we did and selling her things and meeting the people. We enjoyed and benefited from her company. We could tell so many more stories, ask if you want to. LaRae was our friend and neighbor for over 37 years. The Folger Family remembers many good times and especially those fun plays in their garage. LaRae was a person filled with JOY which she shared with all who knew her. The Melo-Wives can tell you many funny stories. The last time I talked to LaRae we laughed as we pictured her in her interesting costume singing those wonderful words, "How do I know my youth is all spent? My get up and go has got up and went! " She sang those songs with gusto and enjoyed every minute of it. Singing with the "girls" was a highlight of her life. Our family sends our deepest condolences to Colleen, Margaret, Yvonne, grandsons, sister, Donna and family. She will be missed by all, but I know she is having a grand time with Bernie, Diane, and all the Angels. She is Happy!! May all find peace because she shared how much you have all done for her. God Bless You. Your OLD friend and Neighbor, "Mrs. Folger" Betty, Bill, Bill, Betty Anne, Joe, Steve, Joe, Paul & Mark The Folger Family!
