I worked with David Scoville in Glenside, PA at the Rau Animal Hospital many years ago. He led me to Jesus and gave me his personal Bible for my own. I am just seeing this notice of his death in October, 2023. He was a huge force in my life and the example of his faith and joy in Christ is was attracted me to believe. God used him mightily. I’ll never forget him. So sorry for the family’s loss.

Dr Scoville was a remarkable man. He was always caring and genuine. He would care for you and your animal.Always a smile, never rushing, and explaining the situation you were facing. He was a gentleman, a brilliant Doctor and a friend to all. I saw Sandy’s dedication first hand, and her continuous research to find a solution to help reverse Dr Scoville’s condition. They both were so happy and I am saddened that their time together was cut short. Sandy please know you did everything you could, and David will always be your Guardian Angel❤️

I am so saddened I am not only lost my special friend Dave but I have to watch his wife Sandy grieve. The best thing that ever happened is when Dave and Sandy got married, They were so happy for over 15 years. In all those years I have never seen them not smiling or are holding hands when they went for walks Their love for each other was awesome. When Dave got sick 2 years ago I watch Sandy over the past 2 years do every thing possable to save him. She never complained she never wavered with his care.. The love they had was special. He will alway be in my heart and Anyone who knew Dave or cross dave's path will never forget him. Dave you are with God now just know I will never forget you.

Our deepest sympathies are with you Sandy. God and fate certainly brought us together and we are so blessed to have known Dave. He brought sunshine and light to us, especially Matt. It did not matter if he was playing catch with Matt, talking horses with him, showing him how to float teeth, sharing a pie Matt brought over, eating the hot dogs Matt had me grill him, talking to me on the phone or greeting me at the barn with a great big smile. He was like a grandfather to Matt and for that I am so grateful. He was so happy at home with you Sandy you certainly brought him joy and happiness in his life. We will miss him tremendously..
All our Love

We are so saddened to hear of Dr. Scoville's passing. Dr. Scoville was the reaon we were able to have many wonderful years with my daughter's horse, When she had a twisted small intestine just one year after we purchased her, the Cornell surgeon said Dr. Scoville's prompt arrival, diagnosis, and initial treatment was directly responsible for the wonderful outcome we had. I always tell people Dr. Scoville was our hero! Rest in peace. The Lindsay Family

Doc Scoville , kind hearted, thoughtful, and so caring .. I loved that he'd sit down and chat with me. I always asked questions and he'd take time to answer . Had him caring for my cattle & horses since 1991.. His favorite thing at my farm was the Highland cattle calves. He would just melt when he'd care for them.. Thought of him often after his last visit at my farm . Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed by many. My Sincere Condolences to Sandra and his family.

He was the best with my bunch of Arabs. Never will forget his face being chased back to his truck by my demon possessed rooster. Best vet ever!

Dr. Scoville was always there for us and so many other families. He set the bar high for other Veterinarians entering the profession. Through all those barn calls we got to know him as a wonderful and caring man. Ask about his family, Sandy and Grandkids and his face would light up with a big smile and sparkling eyes. You all meant so much to him.
May your favorite memories of him continue to warm your hearts. Sending our love, Joanne and Scott Martin
