Obituary of Cecilia Katrina Neff

Cecilia Katrina Suzanna Mroczek Neff Cecilia Katrina Neff, born on November 17, 1925, left this earthly life on September 20, 2016 to join her loving husband, Budd Kenneth Neff. Besides flowers, birds, music, bowling Scrabble, and the Yankees, above all Cecilia loved her husband, her "kids" and her grandchildren. Cecilia is survived by her children Glenda (Michael Chamberlain), Coleen (John) Contos, Tina (Neil) Krauszer, Michael, Jennifer Fonseca, Mary, Christopher and her grandchildren Peter, Jacob and Leilani Contos, Suzanna, Audrey and Caroline Krauszer, Alice and Evan Neff, Javier, Andrés and Emily Fonseca, Shaun (Elisabeth) Neff, Zea Neff and Lucy Neff. She is also survived by her sisters Stephina Watkins and Teresa Joseph, sister-in-law Clara Mae Moore, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Budd, son Patrick, son-in-law Héctor Fonseca, parents Agnes and Albert Mroczek, brothers John, Robert, and Stephen, and sisters Anna and Irene. Cecilia graduated from North Judson High School in 1944 and joined the Women's Army Corps. She proudly served for six years at many bases in the US and at the US Occupation Headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany where she met and married Budd, the love of her life. They settled in Webster to raise a family, and enjoyed their later years in Fairport. A service will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 2pm at Fairport Baptist Homes, Fairport, NY.
