Obituary of Robert Francis Buchheit

Robert Francis Buchheit, 82, of Webster, New York, died on April 25th, 2021 surrounded by his family. Bob was born in East Liverpool, Ohio to Robert and Josephine Buchheit on July 15, 1938. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Bob worked at Bell Labs in Columbus Ohio and then joined the Xerox Corporation in Webster from 1971-2005 until his retirement ending a successful career.
Bob is survived by: Marian, his wife of 57 years; their son, John (Sue); their daughter, Teresa (Leo); their son, Paul (April); and their son, Bob. Bob was preceded in death by his son, Steve and his sister, Joy. Bob is survived by seven grandchildren: Amanda, Jeff, Caroline, Case, Jacqueline, Camilla, and Thomas.
A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Webster, New York on Friday, May 14th at 10:00 AM. Bob will be interred next to Steve at the church's cemetery.
The family extends their gratitude for the support and heartfelt prayers during Bob's year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob looked forward to his "next great adventure" in heaven.
