Mema,
Thank you for teaching me the importance of family. I will forever remember the many gatherings at your and Boppa's house. Climbing the trees in the back yard, the countless games of garbage poker playing for pennies, teaching me how to play spite and malice and the occasional trip to play bingo with you. I always looked forward to going over to your house as it was a warm, embracing place that was sure to have other family members there. I enjoyed the conversations about family and learning about the many relatives we have. While you are gone now, I will forever have these memories to remind me of you and our wonderful family.
Love,
Michael John

Aunt Shirley was my godmother, and she fulfilled her role lovingly. She was a model of resilience. Aunt Shirley is the source of family lore which in true Irish spirit is tragic and humorous. Her passing marks the end of a line in our family. May she be held in perpetual light.

My memories of Aunt Shirley include her joyful singing of the Irish tunes liberally adding many of her own words. Shirley had a wonderful sense of humor with a full dose of Scahill wit. She had a long and full life we should all be so fortunate. She will be remembered fondly

I always enjoyed my chats with Mrs. ReQua at family gatherings. She was always quick with a smile, telling a story or two, and always inquired about my family. I will miss her. My love and heartfelt condolences to the entire ReQua family. You are all in my prayers.
