Obituary of Robert C. McTigue
Webster: Passed away Wednesday evening, March 3, 2021, age 86, surrounded by his beloved wife and constant companion of 37 years, Anita LaBelle McTigue; and all five of his beloved children, Rita McTigue, Beth McMahon, Jenny (Edward) Doyle, Maureen (Mark) Simpson, and Philip (Christine) McTigue. He also leaves his granddaughters, Jennifer McMahon, Rebecca (Jason) Couch, Julie, Kristan, and Michelle Doyle; grandsons, Matthew, Aaron, and Bryan Simpson; four great-grandchildren, Teagan, Declan, Ronnie, and Harlie.
Bob was a retiree from Xerox Corp. after 38 years as a welder. He loved to travel, especially his many trips to Las Vegas and many other destinations with Anita, and sometimes other family and friends who went with them. He enjoyed eating out, socializing with his multitude of friends (you know who you are, Donna and Ron) and family. He was generous and considerate of others. Bob was a US Army veteran, an attendee of Holy Trinity Church, and a long-time resident of Webster. He will be missed.
Friends are invited to Calling Hours 1-4 PM Sunday, March 7, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 9, at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster. Memorials may be directed to Lifetime Care Hospice, American Heart Assoc., or to a charity of your choice.
