Miriam was a dear friend and an inspiration. She was one of the first to welcome us into the fellowship of the Wesleyan Church in Penfield. She was a contributing member to our Sunday School class and a fellow contributor on the Administrative Board. She and Elaine were responsible to record the weekly offerings and prepare a report. They developed a close and loving relationship. She was an exemplary of what the words "Christian Fellowship" mean. We shall miss her greatly.

How can one every forget that broad smile, that quiet giggle and Miriam's life of kindness and generosity? It has been over 50 years since I first stopped by the house and talked to Ed (smoking his pipe) with Miriam hovering in the background. Years of worshipping, working and socializing together at Penfield Wesleyan are cherished memories. I do not know how many hundred weekly worship folders Miriam mailed to us --some with chatty notes included. We rejoice that she is now in the presence of her Savior. Prayers and hopes for all the children, grand children and great grand children
