Obituary of John J Russo

On Friday, February 12, 2021, John J Russo went home to be with our Lord.

He was predeceased by his parents John J & Theresa (Clarko) Russo, and brother Gary Russo.

John leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Pamela (Champion) Russo; children, Rebekah E. (Russo) & Bud Kehr, John L. Russo, Amy M. (Russo) Richardson; grandchildren, Tyler Russo, Sage Richardson, and M. Theresa Richardson; brother, Robert Russo.

John raised his family in Webster, NY.  He retired from Eastman Kodak after a 35 year career.  John spent the majority of his life serving our nation. He first served with the National Guard in 1963-1970, then with the U.S. Army from 1977-1997, where he retired with honors.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Avenue, Webster, NY 14580.  A small service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 1130 Webster Rd, Webster, NY 14580.  Due to Covid regulations the church cannot occupy more than family. A graveside service for John that all are welcome to attend will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 19, at Webster Union Cemetery, 345 Webster Rd., Webster.
