Aunt Joan was always pleased to see the family each time we gathered together, needless to say. She thoroughly enjoyed our regular (and significant) gatherings! The niece & nephews in the family were particularly popular with 'Aunt Joannie', and her beaming smile reflected this every single time we had a family event. I also have fond memories of heading out to Webster for a day at the pool during the summer with my cousins, where we all enjoyed the outdoors as well as each other's company. Aunt Joan always asked for a hug & kiss each time I saw her, and she made the same request of all of the 'cousins' as she had a lot of love to give us all. When I last saw Aunt Joan, I made certain to give her a hug & kiss - no request required.

Our Sister Joan will be remembered by our family, as a wonderful and considerate person. She was always especially willing to be helpful to her twin Brother John whenever he needed her. Joan and Eric always enjoyed watching their Niece and Nephews opening their Christmas gifts at a gathering of our family at our home on Christmas night. Our family also enjoyed many poolside cook outs in the summer at their home in Webster. Joan and Eric also spent many summer weekend getaways at Niagara-on the-Lake with our Sister Margaret and Brother-in-law Vin. Aunt Joannie will always be remembered for giving big hugs and kisses to her Niece and Nephews. She was a wonderful person and we will miss her dearly.
Love, Bob & Mary

We will all miss you, Aunt Joannie, very much. Like Tom, I also have fond memories of pool parties and playing with Whiskey. Aunt Joannie also let me watch Uncle Eric's videos of George Carlin stand-up routines, something that my parents would never have allowed when I was a kid. I will miss you very much, Aunt Joannie. You were the best!

I have so many great memories of Aunt Joan. There was always an open invitation from Aunt Joan and Uncle Eric to come over to swim in the pool; Aunt Joan loved her pool! When we were kids I always hoped that Aunt Joan and Uncle Eric would host the next family party so I could play with their dog, Whiskey. On every ride home from Aunt Joan's house my brothers and I would try to talk my parents into letting us have a dog. My father would always reply that we can go back to Aunt Joannie's house whenever we want and play with Whiskey. Aunt Joan always remembered the kids on Christmas and never missed a single birthday. I always received the exact toy I had requested of Aunt Joan; she was so generous! I love Aunt Joan and will miss her. She was such a kind person.
