Obituary of Irene M. Mitchell

Webster, NY (formerly from Wilmington and Millsboro, DE). Passed away peacefully January 15, 2021 at the age of 99. She is predeceased by her parents, Delbert and Henrika Trembly, son, H. Lee Mitchell and husband Harvey L. Mitchell.  She is survived by her daughter Lois (Robert) Didas, three grandchildren, Wayne (Ellen) Didas, Tracy (Jeff) Smith, and Glen Didas; seven great grandchildren, Joshua, Brooke, Evan, Peter, Eric, Taylor and Jessica and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Irene enjoyed baking, knitting, sewing, fishing and playing the slot machines. She loved her family and was a caring and giving person. She will be missed by all who knew her. A special Thank You to The Maplewood Nursing Home who cared for Irene for 5 years. Memorial Donations may be sent to this facility at 100 Daniel Drive, Webster, NY 14580. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
