Jean was a wonderful person. Our children have great memories of Thanksgivings at Uncle Paul and Aunt Jeans. No one was a better wife, mother or in-law than Jean. She is truly in heaven because she deserves it.

I will never forget the influence of “Ma” Fauth on my life from the time I was 13-26 years old- more than half a century ago! During those formative years she introduced me to a style of decorating I still love. I was invited to join the antique shopping trips she took with friends. I still use a pewter lamp she bought me and paintings from the “painted lady” she knew hang in my home. She cooked big meals and froze Christmas cookies we stole from the freezer. I do those same things. I go crazy cleaning for company and want everyone in the house to help, just like she did. I welcome lonely people to spend holidays with us, just like she loved to do. She lovingly treated me like one of her own. She gave me advice about life whether I wanted it or not. She shared her faith in God when I didn’t want to hear it. Now I share my love for Jesus and give my grandchildren advice, whether they want it or not. My mom and I visited her for the last time just a few years ago. She was still a great lady who had a heart for everyone. Now she and my mom went to heaven a month apart. I am so grateful for the love and influence of this great lady!

The Weingartner family sends their sympathy to all of Jean's family. Jean and our mother, Golda, spent many nights at Genesee Hospital taking care of their private duty patients. Their friendship developed in Jean's car driving to and from the night shift! Peace, Kris Weingartner, Monica and Scott Weingartner and family
