Obituary of Shirley Helen Krueger Mann

Shirley Helen (Krueger) Mann passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the age of 90 from complications due to COVID while residing at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Webster, NY.

She was born on November 17, 1930 in Rochester, NY, daughter of the late Herbert Krueger and Helen Miller Krueger.   In 1951, at the age of 20, she received a nursing certificate from the Rochester School of Practical Nursing and later that same year married Floyd John Mann.  Shirley was a nurse at Rochester General Hospital working in the pediatric nursery for many years before she retired. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling on cruise ships with friends, getting lost in a good book and caring for her fur-babies Katie And Flo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; sister Mary (Krueger) DeRooy; brother-in-law Peter DeRooy; and nephew Thomas DeRooy.  She is survived by daughters Sharon Pike (John) and Deborah Stoner; sons Gary Mann (Linda) and Christopher Mann (Betsy).  She is also survived by nieces Bonnie Norcross (Herb) and Gail Pascalar; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5^th, 2021 at Webster Rural Cemetery in Webster, NY.
