Obituary of Mary Jane Wagenhals
Webster: July 1, 1936-December 11, 2020. Predeceased by her son, Gary; brother, Neil Denny; sister, Sharon Sebastian; parents, Sam and Winifred Pitcher; brother-in-law, Gene Giavedoni. She leaves her husband, Ron; daughter, Susan (Donald) Schaefer; daughter-in-law, Kendall Wagenhals; grandchildren, Benjamin and Andrew Wagenhals, Linnea (Alex) Orians, Emma and Rebecca Schaefer; twin sister, Martha Jean (George) Chapman; brother-and sisters-in-law, Nils (Pam) Wagenhals, Ernestine Giavedoni, Doris (Dave) Londeree and Ruth Denny; many nieces and nephews.
Jane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her home and housekeeping. Born and brought up in Ogdensburg, NY, she loved ice skating there in the winter as a youth, and later, enjoyed going back for visits and reunions. She was employed by School Pictures of Webster for many years.
The family, on behalf of Jane, would like to thank the nurse Marge, Crystal, Lovely and all the wonderful, caring aides at Creekstone.
Due to Covid, services and interment will be at the convenience of the family at Webster Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to United Church of Christ, 570 Klem Rd., Webster, NY 14580 or Alzheimer’s Assoc./Roch, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
