Obituary of Maggie Elizabeth Macaluso "Dixie"
Passed peacefully at home on Saturday, December 5, 2020, age 90, with family and her beloved cat, Baby Girl. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Macaluso; sisters, Barbara Albergo, Ercelle McLean, Blanche Wolfe; brothers, Boisey Jackson and Raymond Hudson. She leaves her sister, Ruby Strobl; brother, Rudolph (Lorrie) Dickens; nieces, Sandra McLean, Shirl Berardi (David Williams); nephews, David McLean, Gerald (Maryann) Szalanski, John (Rosemary) Albergo, Tim Macaluso (Daryl Parks); great-niece, Michelle (Chris) Czachorowski; great-nephew, Michael Ruiz; great-great-nephews, Chase and Kye Czachorowski; several cousins. A special thank you to Barbara Patskin and family, Chris and Amanda Price, Nancy and Bruce Winters. Dixie was a long-time resident and hairdresser in Webster.
Friends may call 2-4PM, 6-8PM Wednesday, December 9, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday, December 10, at St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster. Interment in Mount Morris at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Verona St. Animal Shelter. Willard H. Scott Funeral Home.
