Obituary of Kathryn M. Schroth
Webster: Wednesday, August 26, 2020, age 89. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene F. “Pooch” Schroth. She leaves her children, Pamela (Brian) White and Susan (Bart) LoFurno; grandchildren, Nicholas (Chelsea) White and Taylor White (Zach Schrader); great-grandson, Carter White; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Before graduating from Rochester Business Institute, Kathryn worked in the Hofschneider Corporation, a family business started by her father, which manufactured the famous Red-Eye Wiggler fishing lure.
Kathryn loved music, often initiating sing-alongs around the piano at family functions and was an active member of the Webster Baptist Church choir.
Kathryn was a Campfire Girl group leader and worked as a secretary in the Webster School District, touching many lives with her boundless love. She lived life fully. Kathryn was a loving mother and a caring neighbor, always ready to share a smile and a hug.
Services at a time to be determined. Interment at the convenience of the family at White Haven Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to UR Medicine Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY, 14580, or Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
